As an AVIXA Renewal Unit (RU) Provider, Future—owner of Systems Contractor News—is demonstrating its commitment to providing quality education and training for audiovisual professionals - Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) holders.
AVN² has been approved by the AVIXA independent Certification Renewal Committee to provide learning opportunities for CTS holders for their continued professional development.
CTS RENEWAL UNITS AT THE AVN2 EVENT
All levels of CTS certifications are awarded for three years. To maintain and to renew your certification, you need to accrue 30 Renewal Units (RUs) through continuing education during that period.
Attendees can earn up to 4.5 AVIXA RUs for CTS holders
After you attend AVN2, submit your evaluation for the event. Once the team has verified your attendance and graded your evaluation, you will receive a certificate from Future.
You must attend all educational sessions and submit the evaluation with the correct answers in order to receive RU credits.
Upload your certificate to your online transcript by logging into the AVIXA training catalog at login.avixa.org and select the CTS Transcript tab. This is a great way for you to keep track of all of your courses, making renewal easier than ever.
